Standing Fitness Classes

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

9:30 am to 10:30 am

From October to May

$6.00 per class or $50.00 coupon for 10 classes (you only pay for classes attended)

 

This is a standing exercise class that includes:

  • warmup
  • aerobics
  • stretching
  • strength training
  • cool down

The entire program is set to music curated by the instructor.

Instructor is a Certified Seniors' Fitness Instructor through the Western Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging.

Chair Fitness Classes

Monday, Wednesday and Friday

11:45 am to 12:45 pm

From October to May

$6.00 per class or $50.00 coupon for 10 classes (you only pay for classes attended)

Chair exercises are mostly conducted from a seated position but may include floor exercises based on the composition of the class. 

 

Classes include:

  • warmup
  • aerobics
  • stretching
  • strength training
  • cool down

 

The entire program is set to music curated by the instructor.

Instructor is a Certified Seniors' Fitness Instructor through the Western Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging.

 

 


Individual Music Lessons

The instructor has a Bachelor's degree in Music, is a professional organist, has been playing the piano for over 60 years, and the violin over 20 years.

Students are expected to practice at least 15 minutes on most days in order to benefit from lessons. 

 

One on one instruction is provided tailored to the needs and skills of the student. 

Violin lessons are for all ages. Piano lessons are for mature students only. Half hour lessons are recommended with the frequency determined by the student.

$25.00 per half hour session (you only pay for sessions attended) 

Forms of payment accepted: include etransfer, credit/debit card, cash, and cheque.
